Now that we've wrapped up 70's week with Carli Vierke, it's time for one of my favorite themed week's of the year, Birthday Week! We have a ton of Thursdays Girls' birthday to celebrate in March (including mine on Saturday!), so this week is dedicated to the following lovely ladies: My little sister, Hillary Stanley; my stepsister, Ruth Dunn; original Thursdays Girls, Miss Emily Ross and Kate B. Moore; and a new Thursdays Girl, Tandi Zulu (whose birthday is April 1st, but we're including it anyway!).

To kick off Birthday Week once again we have our favorite foodie and fellow blogger, Miss Shoko Wanger.

Happy Birthday to all of you March Thursdays Girls!

xo,

Stephania

The arrival of spring is cause enough to celebrate, with its sun-splashed picnics in the park, late afternoon bike rides, and tree-lined streets in bloom; add in a birthday, and you've got the perfect excuse to throw a party - al fresco, of course. Start with beeswax candles, polka dot cups, a citrus tart, and some folk music. Just add sunshine - and you're set. - Shoko
