Thursdays is happy to introduce you to our newest intern, Lucie. She's rounding up the week for us and geting us ready for a yummy fall weekend.

Happy Friday! Its that time again for our weekly roundup.  Everyone here at Thursdays hopes that you had a great week and are looking forward to a fun filled beautiful October weekend. I love the fall because you can feel, as well as see, the weather changing, from that cool brisk fall air to the changing leaves (my absolute favorite). Hopefully not too many of your leaves were blown away by Irene!

Happy cooking and crafting this weekend! I hope we can inspire you to try something new (I'm planning on trying the chocolate chip pumpkin pie)! I know my stomach and mind are buzzing with new ideas.

Have a safe, happy, fun, and always delicious long weekend!

Food Network: Herb Roasted Chicken with Root Vegetables

My mom makes a dish like this in the fall and it's divine, I would attempt to give you her recipe but she doesn't believe in recipes so it would be difficult. The veggies and the chicken cook together with the herbs to create an amazing dish. I love it and it's definitely one of my favorites, this is Emeril's version so... BAM and enjoy!
