DIY Your Old T-Shirt
By Megan Kramer
I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving! I don't know about you guys, but I'm still in a bit of a food coma. To be honest though, if you put another piece of pumpkin pie in front of me, I would still give it a go. Since I think we are all still a little full and not wanting to go out in the cold, this week at Thursdays we are all about staying in and hanging out- it's time to recover from Thanksgiving and prepare for the next holiday! This little DIY T-shirt I found on Rabbit Food For My Bunny Teeth fits the bill. It's the perfect, "I still feel fat from Thanksgiving and need a baggy yet cute shirt," or " I need a new work out shirt so that I can work off some of that pie," shirt. Really, the inventor is a genius. It's so cute, and you don't have to sew a thing! I used one of my boyfriends old T-shirts, and although I may have seen the beginning of a tear forming when he first saw me take the scissors to anything involving his beloved Cubs, in the end he loved it; something tells me I'm going to have to wear that all baseball season... Anyways, let's make a shirt and enjoy the last few days of calm before the mad holiday rush begins!!

What you need:
- An old T-shirt
- Scissors
What you do:
Below are pictures of all of the steps, they may make the instructions easier to follow. Start cutting your shirt. Cut around the neck, along the bottom hem, and cut off the sleeves. Cut a V into the top of the back- this will get rid of some fabric so the back isn't too bunchy. Now take the strip that you cut from the bottom of the t shirt and cut it so that it's one long strip instead of a circle. Hold the two back straps together and wrap the long strip around them to connect them. Tie a knot on both ends. That's all!!! In the original tutorial on Rabbit Food For My Bunny Teeth, she did hers a bit differently so that it has a slightly different shape. I'm sure there are tons of variations, so I would love to see what you come up with!!
